SKIN DEEP AT THE PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY AWARDS 2010
The beauty world's very own Oscars took place at London's Park Lane Hilton on 8th March. The glamorous black-tie event paid tribute to all the salons and individuals who represent the creme-de-la-crem of the professional beauty industry.
The Skin Deep team attended the event in support of their very own Nail Technician, Claire Newson, who had passed rigorous judging, involving interviews and practical tests of her skills, to reach the final short-list of the competition. As one of only six finalists, Claire beat stiff competition to make it to the finals. Unfortunately, on this occasion, Claire wasn't announced as the overall winner of the competition, but it has given Claire a taste for entering competitions, and she is already looking forward to her next challenge where she will hopefully take the industry crown! |

2009 Professional Beauty Awards
Skin Deep was one of the few selected salons to reach the final in the Salon
of the Year competition (three rooms or fewer) at the Professional Beauty
Awards 2009. The panel of industry experts acknowledged Skin Deep as:
